Overview: The proper selection of dual duct terminals requires an understanding of the project's needs and the intended application of the unit. After installation, it is very difficult to increase the mixing characteristics, lower the sound levels, or add downstream sensing if the wrong unit is selected. This report suggests that Dual Duct units, however, can provide assured ventilation and provide interesting design choices to the specifying engineer.
