Overview: Currently under a massive revitalization project, the Intrepid is receiving a updated HVAC system. HPSI was called in for the 2000 Op-Sail festivities and the remainder of the cooling season to provide a temporary chilled water system. After working with the Intrepid's mechanical team, HPSI developed a portable, self contained system that contains two-210 ton air chillers, two-350kW generators, pumps, fuel tank and all of the necessary accessories. The entire system is set-up on trailers for limited job space and accessibility.
