Overview: COLT Telecom Group plc are one of the newer competitive telecommunications companies. ICW Power were requested by Colt Telecom to look at the suitability of various sites with a view to maximizing the useable internal floor space for node areas for a new internet Solution Centre in Madrid. The ICW PowerPod Solution was ideal for COLT's Internet Solution Centre in Madrid, providing 24xforever M&E power and saving 850m2 of valuable lettable area. ICW Power was also responsible for the implementation of the total BMS and Rack Monitoring facilities for the ISC as well as all interconnecting power cable/busbars and control/monitoring cabling.
