Overview: Crossroads Engineering & Surveying designed a one-quarter mile section of Hagen Ranch Road, a two lane arterial highway connecting two developing residential areas. The new highway is expandable to a five-lane facility if future growth and development requires. The project traversed undeveloped farm lands, which required a small amount of fill material (under two feet), connected to an existing bridge over the Boynton Canal, and included the construction of a 72 inch culvert crossing at the L-22 canal. Erdman's roadway design included horizontal and vertical geometry, typical sections, drainage, and a reverse curve.
