Overview: The Concord Regional Airport is a modern aviation facility serving the business and recreation travelers arriving and departing the area. To keep aviation activities going in the event of a power outage, the Concord Regional Airport relies upon three standby generators from Generac Power Systems. Each one supports a critical part of the airport operation, ready to supply backup power whenever necessary to keep the facility operational. Providing backup power for the terminal building is a 250-kilowatt diesel generator set with a 450 gallon fuel tank and Generac automatic transfer switch.
