Overview: The Cemex treasury is headquartered in Monterrey with regional treasuries in Mexico, Spain, the Philippines and Venezuela. There was little or no communication with the accounting department and it was very difficult to monitor the overall impact of transactions on our books. Cemex selected Trema Finance KIT. The system was installed on a central server in Monterrey and rolled out to the subsidiaries on a region-by-region basis. Cemex worked on the implementation project very closely with Trema, who provided two Spanish-speaking resources as well as one resource in the US to accommodate Cemex's requirements and also provided training to all Cemex business units worldwide.
