Overview: The Rochester Central Station will provide a safe, indoor, climate-controlled environment and house an underground area for thirty-two bus bays. The bus station will include two platforms for daily buses and one platform for co-located buses, providing a direct link with Greyhound and Trailways transportation. In a construction effort coordinated with more than five firms across the eastern United States, Erdman Anthony will design all the electrical and mechanical components for the new station. Electrical systems will include power, lighting, and the data infrastructure. Erdman Anthony will also perform site development activities such as utility location, sanitary and storm design, and environmental impact studies.
