Overview: This REPP analytical report reviews data on property sales near wind projects and uses statistical analysis to determine whether and the extent to which the presence of a wind power project has had an influence on the prices at which properties have been sold. The hypothesis underlying this analysis is that if wind development can reasonably be claimed to hurt property values, then a careful review of the sales data should show a negative effect on property values within the view shed of the projects.
