Overview: The Antigua Condominiums are a beachfront community located on the magnificent Atlantic Ocean. Because the condos initially had a water-based cooling system, few changes in interior piping were required. The existing two-pipe system is now connected to the ground loop under the parking lot and to each geothermal heat pump. By using the constant, renewable energy found beneath the Earth's surface, GeoExchange technology is not only environmentally friendly, but also cost effective. GeoExchange systems transfer rather than create heat energy, which means that every unit of electricity used, GeoExchange systems generate 4 to 5 units of heat energy.
