Overview: The Louisiana Office of Public Health (OPH) is responsible for the administration of the State's Women, Infants and Children (WIC) program. Because of the program's growth and the need to evolve their technology, the Louisiana OPH sought a new system to help manage the demands of the growing program and replace its aging technical solution. After careful evaluation, the Louisiana OPH decided to model its new WIC IT system after the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania's integrated browser-based WIC system.
