Overview: A cost-effective alternative to standard utility-supplied power is what the world's largest printer now has near its Fernley, Nev. manufacturing facility. Vericor Power Systems demonstrated to the project's developer that its ASE40 gas turbine-based power plant could ensure a reliable energy source with attractive economics. Vericor Power Systems provided a turnkey cogeneration package for this project, which included the ASE40 gas turbine and the plant's heat recovery steam generator.
