Overview: Ortho-McNeil Pharmaceutical, a member of the Johnson & Johnson family of companies, was formed by the 1993 merger of Ortho Pharmaceutical Corporation and McNeil Pharmaceutical. Following the tremendous success of the solar power installation at Neutrogena headquarters in Los Angeles, California, Johnson & Johnson continues to heed the challenge of the EPA's Green Power Partnership program to meet the nation's energy needs and help achieve energy independence. The 75 kW solar power array at the Spring House Facility will help reduce the company's energy consumption by approximately 79,000 kilowatts hours per year.
