Overview: For safety and liability reasons, many marine transport companies and refiners are becoming aware of the dangers of hydrogen sulfide gas vapors associated with finished fuels. Unichem 7586 sulfide scavenger has been proven to be a versatile product to mitigate these problems. One of the most frequent uses for Unichem 7586 sulfide scavenger is the treatment of 6 Oil (Bunker C) for removal of H2S. Unichem 7586 sulfide scavenger is a highly active scavenger, which rapidly reacts with hydrogen sulfide in the fuel, at a fraction of the cost of competitive scavengers.
