Overview: A Permian Basin producing well was experiencing production loss due to severe paraffin plugging. The well was being stripped frequently in order to maintain production. The well was squeezed utilizing the procedure given in the study. After tubing is thoroughly cleaned of all solids, Mix 4 drums of WAX-CHEK?|?n5394 paraffin inhibitor in 20 barrels of lease crude and pump this mixture down the tubing. Pump 10 barrels of lease crude down the tubing as a pad. For the next 129 days, this well required no stripping, hot watering, nor hot oiling.
