Overview: The purpose of this report is to present the results of a survey of Saskatchewan organic producers for alternative organic organization. The survey was conducted as part of the research being carried out in the Department of Agricultural Economics, at the University of Saskatchewan for the Saskatchewan Department of Agriculture, Food and Rural Revitalization. The main purpose is to better understand the functioning of the supply chain and to determine where improvement can be made to increase performance in terms of operational efficiency and cost.
