Overview: This report presents the results of Regional Economic Research's (RER) Multifamily Building Characteristics study conducted for the California Energy Commission (CEC) under Work Authorization 99-11. This research examines the typical construction practices and energy efficiency and performance trade-offs that are used in Title 24 compliance runs for low-rise multifamily residences.
