Overview: This report assesses the environmental performance and related impacts of California's electric generation facilities, and updates the status and trends that were initially reported in the 2001 Environmental Performance Report. In addition, as provided in section 25503(b) of the Public Resources Code, this report has been prepared as part of the first Integrated Energy Policy Report. That report and its subsidiary reports are due to be submitted to the Governor and Legislature by November 1, 2003, and every two years thereafter.
