Overview: In this report, the Energy Commission projected total personal income, population, vehicle miles traveled, and demand for gasoline and diesel fuels. The report also presents forecasted prices for petroleum and refined products through 2020 (with an extrapolation through 2030). This report describes the methodology used in the current analysis and presents a detailed evaluation of each option. The options that were evaluated are discussed below and divided into four categories.
