Overview: This Codes and Standards Enhancement (CASE) Study provides information to support including air distribution efficiency measures into the nonresidential energy efficiency standards (standards). Air distribution system construction in light commercial buildings is often very similar to that in residential buildings. This study analyzes the savings potential of improving the air distribution system efficiency in California's nonresidential buildings. Nearly all nonresidential buildings utilize air distribution systems to provide space conditioning.
