Overview: For more than 100 years, Anaheim Public Utilities has served Anaheim water and electric customers with low rates and reliable service. Today, Anaheim Public Utilities serves more than 328,000 residents and businesses in the City of Anaheim and is Orange County's only publicly owned water and electric utility. Anaheim Public Utilities needed a fast solution to rising energy costs for the Anaheim Convention Center and other public buildings. The City of Anaheim chose a PowerLight solar photovoltaic (PV) rooftop system for its Convention Center as well as three additional systems for installations on Anaheim Police Department stations and Anaheim High School.
