Overview: This paper documents the growth of the global fund of hedge funds (FOHFs) market over the last decade. It includes illustrations of the total size of the hedge fund and fund of hedge funds markets, the expansion of FOHFs over time, and the market share of FOHFs and other hedge fund buyer segments. The research is based upon Hennessee's extensive database of hedge fund managers and the results of Hennessee's Annual Hedge Fund Manager Survey, both of which provide greater detail on the FOHFs market.
