Overview: St. Francis Winery & Vineyards is known as one of the country's premier high-end producers of robust, flavorful wines. St. Francis Winery realized that they could fulfill their obligation of protecting natural resources, preserving the environment, and conserving energy, by generating electricity at the winery using sun's energy. To achieve this purpose, in May 2004 St. Francis Winery installed a 457 kilowatt solar electrical system for its winery in Santa Rosa which provided them with the desired results.
