Overview: As a socially responsible corporate citizen, the Automobile Club is committed to protecting, improving the environment in communities where their employees and consumers live, and work. In February 2003, PowerLight Corporation completed the installation of a 115 kW solar system at the Auto Club's headquarters complex in Los Angeles, California. This system makes innovative use of an unused asset atop the roof of the building, to generate on-site electricity and help reduce the company's operating costs.
