Overview: The intention of this paper is to research the history of wind power and find out what inventions were used to utilize the energy produced by wind in the early centuries. This was a big moment in history as it helped to shape and help the world today. The two main inventions for wind power are the windmill and sails on sailing ships. These inventions date back to around 3200 B.C. and played a main part in the industry of transportation and farming. However today wind power is used to produce electricity for houses.
