Overview: This case study is on transport engineering. The key challenge was to manage Banverket's multi-vendor nationwide ATM/Frame Relay and SDH/PDH network. It also needed a management solution that would help facilitate a rapid time to market for new services while reducing the complex management systems tasks already in place. This optical-fibre network now spans the entire country, enabling traffic management and effective data transmission across the territory.
