Overview: A team away day is an event staged by a company in an effort to build a better work team. It can be done in-house, using the company's own resources, or through bringing in the necessary expertise to do it, or it can more usually be outsourced to a dedicated provider who will have everything that is required at their own premises. Company away days are often seen by those working for the company as a fun day out where the work force can relax and enjoy themselves. This certainly does happen, and in fact it should happen, but there is much more to the event.
