Overview: One of the implications of the GM crop cultivation is the possibility of unexpected presence of GM crops in non-GM crops. Without getting into discussion about benefits about Gm & organic agriculture, issue of co-existence should be treated in a manner of finding solution that would enable farmers to cultivate the types of agricultural crops they choose be it organic or Gm crops. Coexistence refers to the ability of the farmers to make a practical choice between conventional, organic & GM crop farming. In compliance with legal obligations for purity standards. But coexistence means legal choice for farmers irrespective of whichever product they want to cultivate.
