Overview: This paper provides the pros and cons of having a credit card. Unlike cash, credit cards are accepted all over the world, wherever there is a logo (usually on the shop's window) belonging to your credit card. Any goods that you wish to buy can be purchased with your card whether it be in person over the phone or online. Some companies will offer many personal benefits such as travel insurance and loyalty schemes such as cash back and airmiles that will keep you using the card. However, cash advances can be expensive, you may be incurs a charge for this and will almost certainly have to pay a higher rate of interest on this.
